NEW LUBUAGAN MPS BUILDING INAUGURATED IN KALINGA

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – (July 3, 2021) – To declare the formal opening of the newly constructed building of Lubuagan Municipal Police Station (MPS) located in Poblacion, Lubuagan, Kalinga, a Blessing and Inauguration Ceremony was held on July 2, 2021.

As guests for the ceremony, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, graced the event along with the Director of NHQ Crime Laboratory, PBGEN STEVE B LUDAN; the Provincial Governor of Kalinga, Hon. Ferdinand B. Tubban; the Municipal Mayor of Lubuagan, Hon. Charisma Anne O. Dickpus; and the Congressman of the Lone District of Kalinga, Hon. Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang, as the guest of honor and speaker.

To symbolize the official opening of the building, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting was conducted followed by the unveiling of the commemorative markers. Further, the blessing of the building was officiated by REV FR PLTCOL JONATHAN I CHY, PROCOR Regional Chaplain.

As part of the program, PBGEN LEE awarded medals to deserving PNP personnel who rendered outstanding services for the organization and also awarded cash incentives to Kalinga police for their notable accomplishments in the conduct of intensified marijuana eradication operations in the mountains of Tinglayan.

In his message, PBGEN LEE expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Local Government Unit of the province of Kalinga and the municipality of Lubuagan for their unwavering support to Kalinga PPO towards the attainment of peace and order in their locality. Moreover, he also expressed his gratefulness for the success of the construction of the new Lubuagan MPS building and gave his assurance for the continuity of providing genuine services to the people of Lubuagan.
