Last day for the submission of the Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) is June 11, 2025

Comelec Regional Office Regional Chief Lawyer Elenita Julia Tabangin-Capuyan reminded all candidates in the May 2025 polls, both winners and losers, that they must submit their Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE).

Failure to file their SOCE is an administrative fine, after notice and hearing, of P1000 to P30,000 at the discretion of the Comelec campaign finance committee.

2nd offense – 1,000 to 60,000 at the discretion of the Comelec.

2x failed to file SOCE – penalty is disqualification to hold public office, perpetually.

If a winning candidate fails to file SOCE, he or she cannot enter upon the duties of his/her office until the SOCE is filed, with no extensions allowed. ###
