KABAYAN TOWN LAUDS BENECO LINEMEN

The SB passed on August 5, 2024, Resolution No. 583-24 entitled โResolution of Gratitude and Commendation to BENECO Linemen for their Unceasing and Dedicated Service in celebration of โLinemen Appreciation Day.โ
The measure was meant to congratulate the linemen last August 5, the national linemenโs day.
โWith utmost gratitude and appreciation, we salute all BENECO linemen, who continuously work tirelessly, day and night, often risking their lives to ensure that our electricity supply remains uninterrupted, or reinstated immediately in times of power outage. Their commitment to work and professionalism is truly commendable,โ the resolution said.
The measure also lauded the vital role of linemen in their daily lives, homes, workplace, and business since they โoften go un-noticed and underappreciated in their efforts to restore electricity during bad and hazardous working conditions.โ
Melchor S. Licoben, BENECO general manager, appreciated the town for passing the resolution.
Kabayan is approximately 82 kilometers from Baguio City where the cooperativeโs main office is located or roughly a travel of 3 to 4 hours.
Meanwhile, the board directors also approved the Personal Protective Equipment Policy for the electric cooperative.
