Five Kalinga COPS awarded with Medalya ng Kadakilaan

The Police Regional Office Cordillera awarded five personnel of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) in recognition of their operational accomplishment during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at PROCOR Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on September 5, 2022.

The awards were presented by Hon. Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City. He was assisted by Director Editha S Puddoc of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) -CAR, PBGEN JOHN C CHUA, PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA), and other members of the Command Group.

“Medalya ng Kadakilaan” or PNP Heroism Medal were awarded to PLTCOL DINULONG TOMBALI, PLT RUBEN BALANOY, PLT REYGUALDO MARTINEZ, PSSG Daniel Andomang, and PCpl Percival Bagyon of Tabuk CPS for their successful conduct of checkpoint operations that resulted in the arrest of a High-Value Drug Personality in Kalinga.

It can be recalled that on September 2, 2022, personnel of the Kalinga PPO successfully intercepted a white van for transporting one hundred twenty-six (126) marijuana bricks and four (4) pieces of tubular form dried marijuana weighing 118, 270.80 grams with a Standard Drug Price of Php 14,192,296.00.
