Drug personality busted in Abra

01 Aug.  –  Relentless effort of PROCOR to end illegal drugs in the region resulted in the arrest of a Street Local Individual (SLI) and Regional Top Ten Illegal Drug Personality (RTTIDP) in a buy-bust operation conducted at Brgy. Calaba Bangued, Abra on July 31, 2021.

Reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, disclosed the identity of the suspect as Rey Sequerra Bayle aka “Roy” (SLI and RTTIDP), 30 years old, single, tricycle driver and a resident of Calaba South, Bangued, Abra.

Bayle was arrested by joint operatives of Abra PPO, RIU 14 and RID after he sold to an operative acting as poseur buyer one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.57 grams with Standard Drug Price amounting to Php 4,000.00.

During the course of his arrest, seized from his possession were the buy-bust money, cellular phone and a tricycle motor star used in the transaction.

Inventory of the pieces of evidence was conducted onsite and witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Marlbour Jude Balderama; Mr. Edgar Tanura, Media representative; and Mr. Jose Bersamin, DOJ Representative

The arrested suspect was brought to Bangued MPS for documentation prior to filing a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against him while the suspected shabu was turned over to Abra Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination. (PROCOR-PIO)
