DEPUTY CHIEF, PNP FOR ADMINISTRATION VISITS PRO CORDILLERA FOR HIS SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY

The Deputy Chief, PNP for Administration (TDCA), PLTGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA, visited the Police Regional Office (PRO) Cordillera Regional Headquarters at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on January 5, 2024 for his Command Visit and Sentimental Journey before his retirement.
During his arrival honors, PLTGEN SERMONIA was received by the PRO Cordillera Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, and was accorded the traditional welcome dance performed by the PRO Cordillera Cultural Dancers.
A short program followed at the PRO Cordillera Multi-Purpose Center.
As the highlight of the ceremony, PLTGEN SERMONIA delivered his heartfelt message to express his gratitude to the gallant men and women of PRO Cordillera, followed by the viewing of the Audio-Visual Presentation of the PNP’s Transparency and Integrity Program.
In his message, PLTGEN SERMONIA also extended his gratitude to the people of Cordillera for their steadfast support of all the government’s programs in the fight against illegal drugs and communist terrorism, such as the B.I.D.A. or the “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan” program.
“Sa aking huling opisyal na pagbisita sa PRO Cordillera, nais kong iwan ang mga magagandang aral ng karanasan na sana’y magsilbing inspirasyon sa lahat. Una, isapuso ang paglilingkod. Pangalawa, sundin ang tagubilin ng ating pangulo. Thirdly, embrace the Transparency and Integrity Program,” PLTGEN SERMONIA added.
Further, as a token of appreciation for their visit to PRO Cordillera, mementos were given to PLTGEN SERMONIA and his wife, Mrs. Cherry Pie Sermonia.
Present during the activity were PLTGEN SERMONIA’s family and friends, his classmates, the members of the Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers, the PRO Cordillera Command Group and Regional Staff, the Chiefs of the Regional Support Units, and other PNP personnel.
Designated as TDCA, PLTGEN SERMONIA is currently the second-highest official of the PNP organization and is set to retire next month after serving the country for almost 38 years. (PRO CORDILLERA PIO / File Photos)
