CPA licensure examination topnotcher commended

City officials recently congratulated and commended Alexander Salvador Centino Bandiola, Jr. of City Camp Central barangay for topping the May 2023 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that the local government extends its congratulations to Bandiola, Jr., to his family and the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for such a momentous success.

The council likewise expressed its pride for the honor for such a feat which affirms the city as an outstanding education center of the north with prestigious educational institutions.

Bandiola, Jr., graduated Magna Cum Laude in September 2022 from the University of the Cordilleras. He also completed his junior and senior high school from the same institution.

In May 2021, he participated in the 22nd Search for Outstanding Accounting Students of the Philippines, an annual nationwide competition for selected top accountancy students from various areas in the country.

He landed in third place from the 437 students from 93 schools who hurled the battle of wits, knowledge and skills of the participating students in the qualifying examinations and interviews.

On May 21-23, 2023, Bandiola, Jr. took the CPA licensure examination which was conducted in various areas around the country.

Results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) showed Bandiola, Jr. garnered the highest score with a rating of 89.50 percent where he emerged as the topnotchers out of the 2,239 examinees that took the said examination. – Dexter A. See
