City mourns passing of South Central Aurora Hill barangay kagawad

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 269, series of 2023, expressing deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences of the officialdom and constituency of the City of Baguio to the bereaved family of the late Reynaldo Ramirez Mendoza, former kagawad of South Central Aurora Hill barangay.

The measure disclosed that Mendoza died on 25 April 2023 at the age of 89 leaving behind his family and friends in deep sorrow.

“Mendoza is known for his selfless dedication to public service having served South Central Aurora Hill Barangay from 2002 to 2013. He unselfishly shared and contributed his time and efforts for the development and progress of his constituency, the barangay, and the city,” it stressed. 

The resolution pointed out that his active participation in various civic activities geared at improving his constituency are “worthy of emulation and shall remain in the hearts and minds of every constituent of South-Central Aurora Hill Barangay whom he dearly served and of the City of Baguio as well.” – Gaby B.
