“Barangay Sto. Rosario Valley Medical Mission: Bringing Healthcare to the Community”

BAGUIO CITY – On July 5, 2025, a Free Medical, Dental, and Wellness Mission was held at Barangay Sto. Rosario Valley, organized by Mr. Roberto Pons Pascual through the Robertsville Foundation Inc. in partnership with the Cordillera Eagles Region III. The activity was made possible with the full support of Punong Barangay Edwin M. Tablada and the Barangay Council.

The objectives of the activity were:

To provide free and accessible health and wellness services to the residents of Barangay Sto. Rosario Valley.

To promote preventive healthcare, proper hygiene, and overall well-being.

To strengthen collaboration between civic organizations and the local government in addressing basic community health needs.

The event was attended by approximately 200 individuals, including:

  • Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
  • Senior Citizens
  • Children (under the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children – BCPC)
  • Solo Parents
  • Women

The following services were offered:

Medical Consultation: Basic health check-ups and distribution of free medicines

Dental Services: Free tooth extraction for those in need of oral care

Free Eyeglasses: Distribution of reading glasses for individuals with vision concerns

Haircut Services: Free haircuts for women, promoting personal hygiene and self-care

The mission was successfully implemented, meeting its objectives and leaving a significant positive impact on the community. Many residents expressed their appreciation, especially those who rarely have access to healthcare services due to financial constraints. The free eyeglasses and dental services were particularly valued by the elderly and solo parents, while the haircut services gave a refreshing boost to participating women.

The success of this outreach activity highlights the importance of community service and strong partnerships. The Barangay Council of Sto. Rosario Valley extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Roberto Pons Pascual, Robertsville Foundation Inc., and the Cordillera Eagles Region III for their unwavering support and commitment to serving the people. Through these initiatives, we continue to build a healthier, more compassionate, and united community. # Ross Calimlim
