BAGUIO COPS JOIN RUNAWAY FOR A CAUSE
Police officers of Baguio City Police Office dressed in hues of black and Cordilleran tapis-inspired accents strutted their way to the runway as they displayed their unique collections during a fundraising event dubbed “IVY FASHION BALL III: Post Apocalypse” held at W. Forbes, Baguio Country Club, Baguio City on April 24, 2022.
As part of the BCPO Aurora Hill Police Station’s “Rampa Para sa Balik Eskwela”, the runway event is in line with the Project Namnamma: Crowdfunding Advocacies which aims to generate funds for the Balik Eskwela Program this coming opening of classes.
The activity was initiated by WILVY Shows Entertainment Production in partnership with Aurora Hill Police Station. Also, the event showcased the masterpieces of local designers and to support their small businesses.
Ms. Bong Lee, PROCOR Officers’ Ladies Club Adviser and the better half of PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, graced the event as one of the judges during the event.
Featured designers, brands and collectors during the event were Maila Alog, Marvin Peñaflorida, Julie’s Creation by Julie Vergara, Sofia Loren, Ricmar Agas, Ron Montes, Lea Pocte, Zenny Pilsona, Stella Jesebel Velasco, Ariezz Lozano, Lheewhel Tokia and Bon Ryan Gonzales
Project Namnamma Crowdfunding Advocacies is a project launched by BCPO Aurora Hill Station Commander, PMAJ MAILA ALOG, in coordination with Punong Barangays and advocacy groups to help in outsourcing funds through crowdfunding initiatives to support their Community Assistance Development projects in the City.
