A Walk of Hope and Inclusion at SM City Baguio

BAGUIO CITY, April 2026 — In a strong show of unity and advocacy, more than 300 participants gathered on April 26 for the annual Angel Walk for Autism, led by the Autism Society Philippines – Baguio Chapter, together with partner NGOs and employees of SM Supermalls in Baguio.

Held as part of a continuing yearly initiative, the Angel’s Walk brought together individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, volunteers, and advocates in a meaningful display of support, awareness, and inclusion. The event highlighted the importance of creating safe and welcoming spaces where persons with autism can thrive and be celebrated.

Participants walked side by side in a shared call for understanding and acceptance, reinforcing the message that every individual deserves equal opportunities and a community that uplifts them. The strong turnout reflects the growing commitment of local stakeholders to champion inclusivity and empower persons with autism.

Through initiatives like the Angel’s Walk, SM City Baguio continues to support advocacy groups and community partners in promoting awareness, accessibility, and a more inclusive environment for all. #
