The Women’s Organization successfully conducted a meaningful Mother’s Day Celebration at the Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall in honor of mothers and women in the community. The activity aimed to recognize and appreciate the invaluable role of mothers while promoting unity, cooperation, friendship, and active participation among women and community members.

The successful conduct of the celebration was made possible through the full support of the Barangay Council, headed by Punong Barangay Edwin M. Tablada, together with the assistance of Rosanna C. Tablada, Chairperson of Social Services, who actively supervised and supported the Women’s Organization throughout the activity. The celebration was also participated in by the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) to further strengthen family relationships, parental involvement, and community solidarity.

As part of the celebration, participants first engaged in a friendly volleyball game and other recreational activities that brought enjoyment, excitement, and camaraderie among the attendees. These activities encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, and active interaction among women, parents, and community members.

Following the games, the participants held a simple yet meaningful potluck gathering where everyone voluntarily shared food and refreshments. Different dishes prepared by members were served during the salo-salo at the multi-Purpose Hall, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere for fellowship and bonding.

The celebration became even more meaningful as participants shared stories, laughter, and expressions of gratitude for the love, sacrifices, and dedication of mothers in nurturing their families and guiding the community. The activity strengthened friendship, cooperation, and mutual support among women and parents while promoting stronger community ties.

Overall, the Mother’s Day Celebration was successfully concluded with active participation and overwhelming support from the attendees. The participants greatly enjoyed the games, food sharing, and fellowship, making the event both memorable and meaningful for all women, mothers, and parents who took part in the celebration. #
