BAGUIO CITY (April 22, 2026) In line with its commitment to accessible and inclusive healthcare, Barangay Sto. Rosario Valley successfully conducted a medical mission on Wednesday, April 22, in partnership with the PALTIING United Seniors’ Organization (PUSO).

The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Sangguniang Barangay, barangay personnel, partner organizations, and members of the KALIPI Women’s Organization, who actively supported the implementation of the program.

A total of 135 residents benefited from the medical mission, reflecting both the community’s trust and the growing need for grassroots healthcare services. Among those served were persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, solo parents, and children.

The initiative was led by Punong Barangay Edwin M. Tablada, whose leadership underscored the barangay’s commitment to delivering responsive and people-centered public service.

Organizers extended their sincere appreciation to the PALTIING United Seniors’ Organization (PUSO), headed by Dra. Reylita E. Cobillas-Calimlim, MD, and Leopoldo Calimlim, MD, for their invaluable partnership and medical support in ensuring the success of the activity.

Special recognition was also given to members of the Sangguniang Barangay for their contributions: Hon. Elmer Datuin for providing eyewear assistance, Hon. Vladimir Cayabas for supplying bottled water, and Hon. Paolo Salvosa for extending legal aid services during the mission.

Barangay officials emphasized that initiatives such as this medical mission reflect their continuing dedication to promoting health, wellness, and inclusive service delivery, particularly for vulnerable sectors of the community.

“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng tumulong at nakiisa. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang mas malusog na komunidad,” PB Tablada said. #
