MarSU nakikiisa sa Pandaigdigang Araw ng mga Kababaihan, patuloy sa pagdiriwang sa Pambansang Buwan ng Kababaihan
Boac, Marinduque – Ang Marinduque State University (MarSU) ay nakikiisa sa International Women’s Day ngayong Marso 8 at sa National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) sa buong buwan ng Marso. Nagsimula noong Marso 1 ang pagsasagawa ng Quantitative Survey on Gender-Based Violence for Students, Gender-Based Orientation for Freshmen, From Eve to Mary: God’s Redemptive Story through Women at Female Empowerment Mood Board.
Ang Marso 2 ay nilaan sa tema ng Flag Raising Ceremony ang NWMC sa pangunguna ng MarSU Gender and Development Unit. Nagkaroon din ng webinar on GAD-related laws and mandates sa inisyatiba ng College of Education. Samantala, kasabay ng #Purple Wednesdays, #PurpleYourIcon ang Violet Bag o Kalutang Exchange ng College of Arts and Social Sciences noong Marso 4 at darating na Marso 11, 18 at 25.
Habang naipagpatuloy ang #GAD-to-Know Community Information and Education Campaign for 4Ps Beneficiaries noong Marso 6 at sa darating na 11 at 13 kasama ang College of Governance, GAD Focal Point System, at Municipal Social Work and Development Office ng Torrijos.
Dagdag pa dito ang presentation of Women’s Leadership and Innovation Digital Exhibit sa paggitan ng Marso 9 hanggang 13, handog ng College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Business Administration, College of Governance at Non-teaching Personnel.
Bukod dito, sa Marso 16 hanggang 20 at Marso 23, 25 at 27 ay magdaraos ng #SheSays2026: Women Bridging Change Digital Storytelling ang MarSU Torrijos, Sta. Cruz, MarSU Gasan kasama ang College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Education, College of Information and Computing Sciences, College of Industrial Technology at College of Engineering.
Nakikiisa rin ang Tanggapan ng Vice President for Administration and Finance sa Marso 24, magdaraos ng Capacity Building on RA 11313 Safe Spaces Act for Non-teaching personnel. Sa buong buwan ng Marso, magkakaroon din ng Consultative meeting for the policies and procedures of data collection in relation to the establishment of a GAD project registry and Tracking System ang CICS, Workshop Training and Policy-making simulations on RA 11313, also known as Safe Spaces Act, ang 1st batch ng sa Boac trainees hatid ng CGov at Provincial Government of Marinduque, Department of Interior and Local Government at Liga ng mga Barangay – Marinduque Chapter. Gayundin, ang coastal clean-up para kay Juana sa pamamagitan ng MarSU Gasan Campus.
