Measures passed on the inspection, evaluation of donations to city

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified city council resolution no. 592, series of 2023, directing the inspection and evaluation of all donations requiring Sanggunian action by the City Engineering Office (CEO) with respect to roads, alleys and open spaces; the City Buildings and Architecture Office (CBAO) with regards to structures; and the City General Services Office (GSO) as to movable properties.

It also directs said offices to then submit reports or recommendations to the local legislature before any manifested intention to donate may be considered or acted upon.

There are roads, alleys, open spaces, structure and movable properties that are being donated to the City of Baguio, the approved measure stated.

Meanwhile, the Mayor also signed city council resolution no. 582, series of 2023, requesting the CEO to conduct an inspection and evaluation on the three-meter wide alley to be donated to the city of Baguio as reflected in an approved survey plan, containing an area of about 573 square meters, located at Purok 3, Gibraltar barangay.

The approved measure also directs the CEO to submit a report on the same for the consideration of the local legislature on the intended donation. – Gaby B. Keith
