City okays six more SK barangay budgets for 2023

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified three city council measures granting favorable review to the annual Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) budgets of six barangays in the Summer Capital for fiscal year 2023 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991.

Resolution no. 308, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the SK barangay budgets of Santo Tomas Proper and Sto. Nino Slaughter while resolution no. 321, series of 2023, does the same for the SK budget of BGH Compound barangay.

Meanwhile, resolution no. 330, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the SK budgets of Engineer’s Hill, Kias and Upper Market Subdivision barangays for this year.

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review of the local legislature the said preliminary reviewed SK annual barangay budgets.

Recommending favorable review of the six SK barangay budgets is the august body’s committee on youth welfare and sports development.

The approved resolutions order the return of said budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
