Vice Mayor Olowan Administers Oath to Newly Elected CITI Buddies Officers

A new set of officers of CITI Buddies, Inc. formally took their oath of office during an induction ceremony held on January 16, 2026, at City Hall, Baguio City. The ceremony was administered by Vice Mayor Faustino A. Olowan, marking the official start of the organization’s new leadership term.

Leading the newly inducted officers are Edgar Aguilar as President and Alexander Mendoza as Vice President. They are joined by Emily Balderas as Secretary, Louie Subido as Treasurer, Perlita Mabanta as Business Manager, Marlyn Vergara as Auditor, and Nora M. Cruz as Public Relations Officer.

Also inducted were the members of the Board of Directors, composed of Ma. Teresa Cardona, Edwin Alasaas, Conchita Ancheta, Josephine Emiliano, and Rebecca delos Reyes, who will provide strategic guidance and support to the organization.

Eva Marie Fianza was named Secretary General.

Strengthening CITI Buddies’ international reach, the organization also appointed Vice Presidents for External Affairs, namely Catherine Agustin (USA), Mercy Komaira (United Kingdom – London), Amy Paatan (Australia), and Lilibeth Joy Rosales (Hong Kong).

Meanwhile, the following committee heads were also introduced to lead the organization’s core functions: Mr. Steve Floresca for the Committee on Operations, Mr. Pops Carantes for the Committee on Recruitment and Screening, Ms. Emelyn Benitez for the Committee on Program, and Mr. Joseph Bautista for the Committee on Projects.

Founded in 2011, CITI Buddies, Inc. is a non-profit, service-oriented organization established by individuals committed to community service, volunteerism, and social responsibility.
