Baguio City – (March 6, 2022) – Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong formally announce the declaration of the opening of the Baguio Flower Festival (Panagbenga 2022) with the theme “Let Hope Bloom”, followed by the unveiling of calendar of events witnessed by the city officials, DOT-CAR Regional Director Jovy Ganongan, and Panagbenga Festival Executive Committee headed by Anthony De Leon held at the Melvin Jones, Football Grounds.

The Panagbenga 2022 Special Edition – Calendar of Events from March 6 to 27, 2022 – Panagbenga Open Landscaping Exhibition “Gardenscapes” at Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds; March 6 – Reopening of the Baguio Botanical Garden in Leonard Wood Road; March 13 – Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio featuring FUNagbenga Zumba, Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom:  An Open Painting Exhibition, Panagbenga Kiteflying Challenge and Cultural Show in Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds; March 19-20 9th Stage Ronda Pilipinas by LBC in cooperation with the City Government of Baguio. Criterium Race (March 20) –Within CBD Area.

Awards Night (March 20) – Baguio Convention Center. From Santiago City to Baguio City;  March 19 -27 – 2nd Montañosa Film Festival by the Creative Baguio City Council. Baguio Athletic Bowl, Burnham Park.
