Sa panayam kay Rowena K. Demot – Business Development and Marketing Officer of John Hay Management Corporation.

“Originally, This is the first time na ginawa namin ito and our goal is for the people to remind about what Camp John Hay is or how it has begun, as we all know Camp John Hay is always known for like an event place or an ordinary tourist destination but nakakalimutan na natin more than the trees, more than the cold trees much more than that so, this time we would like to remind or stir the heart of the people that Camp John Hay has a very rich history and very unique culture, that’s when we started let’s come up with something naman to remind the people what Camp John Hay is before during the American Occupation so, we started the call for donation, we published it on the social media platforms of John Hay and also to newspapers. Unfortunately, maraming nag donates surprisingly and  it is still the ongoing program of John Hay Management  Corporation so, to those who are willing at baka meron sila mga tinatago na memorabilia, we will receive calls but they didn’t haven’t visited our office yet, sabi nga nila so, it is a continuous program and it’s gonna be open until December,”

The memorabilia will be displayed here at the Bell House in museum until willing yun mga nag donate or contributors na ipahiram sa atin, most of them are very generous na sabi nila, “Okay you can have it,” so, as part naman para ma recognize yun mga nag contribute ay ilalagay namin yun name nila as contributor,”

“We are still open daily Monday to Sunday and we still follow the minimum health protocols  na impose by the city like wearing a face mask and sanitation,”

“For the photo contest naman there are 10 entries coming from outside and for the winners ay may nakakuha ng 2nd and 3rd placer winner na is Atty. Joan Sales and for the 1st placer naman ay is Glacier Yano working at Saint Louis University,” pagtatapos ni Yano.  # Photos by: Mario  Oclaman //FNS
