Baguio City – The Social Security (SSS) Baguio branch joined other government agencies in bringing services closer to its stakeholders during the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Fair held at the University of the Philippines Baguio.
During the event, SSS Baguio offered various services, including member orientation on its online services such as Social Security (SS) Number application, My.SSS account registration, Payment Reference Number (PRN) generation for contributions and loans, updating of personal records, Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP), and disbursement account enrollment.
“At SSS, we strive to make our services more accessible and efficient for our members,” said SSS Acting Vice President for Luzon North 1 Division Nancy U. Umoso. Through initiatives such as simplified registration and expansion of digital services, we enhance the overall member experience in line with the Ease of Doing Business Program,” Umoso added.
The SSS joined the EODB initiative in 2018 following the enactment of Republic Act 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. This landmark legislation seeks to enhance the country’s global competitiveness by streamlining government processes, improving service delivery with a heart, and minimizing bureaucratic red tape. ###
