Sen. Imee Marcos Leads Inauguration of P10M Farm-to-Market Road in Cabatuan, Isabela

CABATUAN, Isabela β Senator Imee Marcos spearheaded the inauguration of a newly constructed farm-to-market road in Barangay La Paz, Cabatuan, Isabela, on January 31, 2025. The project, amounting to P10 million that was funded by the Dept. of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), aims to enhance agricultural productivity and improve transportation access for local farmers and residents.
Senator Marcos led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, marking the official opening of the infrastructure project. She was joined by key local officials led by Ben-ben Dy, the acting Municipal Mayor of Cabatuan; Lucia S. Alan, the Regional Director of DSWD, and Barangay La Paz officials.
In her speech, Senator Marcos emphasized the importance of investing in rural infrastructure to boost the local economy and ensure that farmers can easily transport their produce to markets.
Aside from the inauguration, she also visited the town for the release of P3 Million fund from DSWD for the Assistance to Individuals In Crisis Situations (AICS). Moreover, at least 600 schoolchildren were given Nutri Buns.# Mae Barangan
