Regional Anti-Cybercrime unit Cordillera (RACU-COR) hailed as best RACU of the year during PNP ACG 8th Founding Anniversary

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet- (April 30, 2021) – The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group hailed RACU COR as the best Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit during its 8th Foundation Anniversary on April 28, 2021.

With the 20 Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit in the country, RACU COR under the leadership of Chief RACU COR, PCOL TIRSO D MANOLI stood up with their accomplishments.

In addition to the unit’s award, PCMS Clifford Joseph Batawang also received a Plaque of Recognition for being named as the “Best Senior PNCO for Operations”. 

However, according to the Chief RACU COR, PCOL MANOLI due to the shifting of quarantine classification from ECQ to MECQ in the National Capital region Plus Bubble area, the formal celebration was suspended.

Meanwhile, as the Plaques of Recognition were sent, a simple handing of plaques to the unit and to PCMS Batawang was held at RACU COR office at CBAO building.

RACU implements and enforces pertinent laws on cybercrime and other cyber-related crimes and pursues an effective anti-cybercrime campaign. (PROCOR RPIO)
