PRO Cordillera Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR.,  demonstrated his commitment to ensuring the safety and contributing to the advancement of the Metropolitan Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay (MBLISTT)  by attending the MBLISTT Council Meeting held on April 4, 2024.

The meeting conducted at the Smart City Command Center, Baguio Convention Center, was attended by the City Mayor and MBLISTT Council, Hon. Benjamin B Magalong, different Local Chief Executives of BLISTT, other National Government Agencies, and stakeholders.

Among the crucial topics deliberated during the meeting were proposed amendments to the qualifications of Administrator II for the MBLISTT and updates on the budget of the MBLISTT Development Authority. Also discussed were the establishment of an MBLISTT Committee for Kennon Road and the appeal from UV Express drivers and operators for exemption from the schedule of Kennon Road trips for non-residents of MBLISTT.

Highlighting the importance of community-centric governance, the MBLISTT Council Meeting reaffirmed its commitment to delivering services tailored to the needs of the populace within the territory of the LGUs involved. Key focus areas included Development Planning; Urban Renewal, Land Use Planning, Housing and Shelter; Transport and Traffic Management; and Public Safety and Order.
