PRO CAR’s Weeklong Drug Ops Net Over P15M Worth of Illegal Drugs; 21 Drug Personalities Arrested

The regionwide implementation of intensified anti-illegal drug operations by the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) resulted in the seizure of more than P15M worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of 21 drug personalities in a weeklong operation conducted from August 11 to 17, 2025.
Over the course of the campaign, a total of 34 operations were carried out. These included 17 marijuana eradication operations, 12 buy-bust operations, three implementations of search warrants, one service of a warrant of arrest, and one police response.

These operations led to the confiscation of 46,265 fully grown marijuana plants, 2,200 marijuana seedlings, 43,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, and 85.76 grams of shabu with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP15,084,176.84. In addition, 21 drug personalities were arrested, 10 of whom were identified as High Value Individuals (HVIs) and 11 as Street Level Individuals (SLIs).

The most notable operations were conducted in Kalinga, where the Lumin-awa Cops of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) seized PhP8,728,540.00 worth of illegal drugs and apprehended four HVIs and one SLI, and in Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of the Benguet PPO confiscated PhP3,254,240.00 worth of illegal drugs and apprehended seven SLIs.
Further, in Baguio City, the Napino Cops of the Baguio City Police Office seized PhP3,020,400.00 worth of suspected shabu and nabbed three HVIs and two SLIs, and in Abra, the Abante Cops of the Abra PPO seized PhP57,596.00 worth of suspected shabu and arrested three HVIs.
Meanwhile, in Ifugao, the Haggiyo Cops of the Ifugao PPO seized PhP17,272.00 worth of suspected shabu and arrested one SLI, and in Mountain Province, the Inayan Cops of the Mountain Province PPO confiscated PhP6,128.84 worth of suspected shabu.
