PRO CAR’S Weeklong Anti-Criminality efforts lead to arrest of 29 Wanted Persons; 57 Municipalities Record Zero Crime Incidence

The intensified anti-criminality campaign of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) from October 5 to 11, 2025, led to the arrest of 29 wanted individuals, while 57 municipalities across the region remained crime-free, with zero crime incidents recorded.

According to the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division of PRO CAR, during the weeklong manhunt operations, Baguio City Police Office (CPO) led with the highest number of arrests, apprehending 12 wanted persons, followed by Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with six arrests, Abra and Ifugao PPOs with four arrests each, Kalinga PPO with two arrests, and Apayao PPO with one arrest.

Of the 29 arrested, six were listed as Most Wanted Persons: one at the Regional Level, one at the Provincial Level, and four at the Municipal Level.

Meanwhile, the heightened police presence significantly contributed to maintaining peace and order, with 57 municipalities across the region and six police stations in Baguio City recording zero crime incidents during the period.

Specifically, zero crime incidents were recorded in 20 municipalities in Abra, 10 municipalities each in Ifugao and Mountain Province, seven in Benguet, and five each in Apayao and Kalinga, while Police Station (PS) 1, PS4, PS6, PS8, PS9 and PS10 of Baguio CPO also recorded no crime incidents.

PRO CAR’s commitment to law enforcement was further highlighted by its remarkable performance, achieving a 75.51% crime clearance efficiency and 69.39% crime solution efficiency, reflecting the dedication and effectiveness of PRO CAR in upholding peace and order in the region.
