PRO-CAR with DSWD-FO-CAR formally signed the MOA

In a move to enhance public service delivery and promote community resilience, the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Field Office CAR (DSWD-FO CAR) formalized a strengthened partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the DSWD-FO CAR Training Center, North Drive, Baguio City on July 7, 2025.

For PRO CAR, the MOA was signed by PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, Regional Director, and PCOL JULIO S LIZARDO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, while for the DSWD-FO CAR, the signatories were Ms. Maria A. Catbagan-Aplaten, Regional Director; Ms. Novelia B. Pocding, Chief of Disaster Risk Reduction Management; and Ms. Marifil C. Jugal, Chief of the Policy and Planning Division.

Under the MOA, both parties commit to working closely together to improve coordination and strengthen capabilities in key areas such as humanitarian response, legal education, and peace and development efforts. The partnership will focus especially on disaster risk reduction and protecting vulnerable sectors.

Further, PRO CAR will actively support these initiatives through its presence in communities, ensuring safety, order, and timely response during emergencies. Meanwhile, the DSWD-FO CAR will provide technical support, training, and resources to help achieve shared goals for a safer and more resilient region. (RPIO PRO CAR / File Photo)
