PDEA SEIZES WORTH 1 M MARIJUANA BRICKS AND ARRESTS TWO INDIVIDUALS IN KALINGA

On February 4, 2025, operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Kalinga Provincial Office and the local Philippine National Police arrested two individuals and seized marijuana dried leaves in bricks weighing 9,000 grams valued at P1,080,000.00 in a buy-bust operation at Purok 6, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Authorities apprehended the two suspects after they sold 9 bricks of marijuana dried leaves to an undercover agent. In addition to illegal drugs, they also confiscated firearms and ammunition. from them.

The two male suspects were identified as residents of Brgy. Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga and are presently in the custody of PNP-Kalinga while cases are being filed against them for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PR)
