NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The City Government of Baguio expresses their sincerest gratitude through Resolution Number 36 (Series of 2021) presented by Mayor Benjamin Magalong with Congressman Marquez Go and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan with members of the Baguio City Council at the Baguio City Hall Grounds to former Provincial Director Ms. Freda Gawisan of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Baguio-Benguet for her invaluable support to the City of Baguio. Ms. Gawisan’s noteworthy accomplishments include the initiation of the integration of DTI livelihood programs to the “Barangayan Program of ABS-CBN that gave birth to joint project dubbed as “Kabuhayan sa Barangay”. She maintained a close partnership with Benguet State University (BSU) for the establishment of the Technology Business Incubation Project (TBIP) to facilitate technology transfer for the new Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the food sector and facilitated the inclusion of one municipality to enroll at Business Permits and Licensing System Program outside the two (2) pilot areas in Baguio City and Benguet.  Photo by: Neil Clark Ongchangco
