JHMC & BAGPTD Partner to Build Community Trust and Digital Defenses

BAGUIO CITY – JHMC President and CEO Manjit Singh Reandi welcomed members of the Battalion Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (BAGPTD) to their 5th Regular Meeting on September 23, 2025, held at the old JHMC Office Complex. The gathering provided a platform for a comprehensive dialogue focused on fostering community safety.
The meeting saw participation from a diverse group of stakeholders, including BAGPTD members, representatives from local government units, religious organizations, the youth sector, various line agencies, media partners, and the private sector, underscoring a shared commitment to peace and progress.
A highlight of the meeting was a presentation by Frankxen John Pinzon, Cybersecurity Focal of DICT-CAR, who offered valuable insights into cybersecurity and digital safety. Pinzon provided a thorough overview of the current cyber threat landscape, highlighting common risks faced by individuals and organizations. Aligning with DICT-CAR’s expertise, he also shared practical strategies for protection, emphasizing the importance of cultivating safe online habits.
Under the leadership of President Singh Reandi, the dialogue underscored JHMC’s commitment to strengthening community partnerships, maintaining peace and order, and enhancing police service delivery. Both JHMC and the Philippine National Police (PNP) remain aligned in purpose and dedication, working together to build institutions that are more capable, effective, and credible in ensuring public safety and security.
A significant part of the meeting included the oath-taking ceremony for the new members of the Federated Youth Mobile Force (FYMF) led by BAGPTD Chairman Vladimir D. Cayabas. This event highlighted the commitment to involving the youth in community safety initiatives and empowering them to contribute to a secure environment.
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) is a specialized police unit of the Philippine National Police (PNP) under the Police Regional Office in the Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR).
