Invitation: SEC BEO Webinar on eFAST Enrollment and Submission
In keeping with the government’s thrust for zero-contact policy in government transactions, and considering further the observance of health and safety protocols in place by reason of the current pandemic, the Securities and Exchange Commission has launched its Online Submission Tool (OST) on March 15, 2021, allowing corporations to file its annual reportorial requirements ONLINE without having to travel or leave the comforts of their homes and/ or offices.
OST was initially made mandatory for stock corporations and only optional for non-stock corporations in 2021. This year, however, the Commission will require ALL corporations to enroll and submit its reports via the OST system. No reports will be accepted over the counter, through registered mail or via courier service.
In view of this mandatory requirement for online submission of reports, we are humbly requesting the kind assistance of your good Office in helping us disseminate information pertinent to enrollment and uploading of SEC reports via the OST system through the conduct of webinars to business corporations, registered associations/ organizations/ foundations and One Person Corporations (OPCs) within your jurisdiction.
