High-value individual arrested in Benguet

In La Trinidad, Benguet, a High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in the afternoon of January 18, 2021.

Listed as HVI, Gideon Lastimosa Manzano, 50 years old, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet.

According to the report of La Trinidad MPS, Mr. Manzano was arrested after he sold three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu to the drug operatives who acted as poseur-buyer.

Recovered during the course of operation are the three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 1.01 g with an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php 6,868.00, one piece of genuine one-thousand-peso bill, five pieces of one-thousand-peso boodle money, and one Vivo touchscreen cellular phone.

Onsite inventory and markings of the pieces of evidence recovered were done in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad Fredirick Compalas and Denver Bastingo, media representative. (PROCOR RPIO)
