Four drug personalities nabbed in Baguio and Benguet

The series of anti-illegal drug operations being conducted by PROCOR Cops yielded in the arrest of four drug personalities in Baguio City and Benguet on August 24, 2022.

Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO ASPERO BAZAR, the arrested drug personalities were identified as Adrian Vicente Wabe, 18; Rene Boy Enriquez, 29; Rommel Gulla Alvarez, 30; and Ricky Go Ku, 55.

In Brgy. East Quirino Hill, Baguio City, suspect Rene was arrested by the joint operatives of Baguio CPO and PDEA-CAR after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.22 grams and a standard drug price (SDP) of Php 1,496.00 to an operative acting as a poseur-buyer.

In a separate operation conducted in Brgy. Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City, suspect Rommel was arrested by the operatives of Baguio CPO after he sold one (1) black garbage bag containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less 47.02 grams with an SDP of Php 5,642.4 to an operative acting as a poseur-buyer.

Meanwhile, in La Trinidad, Benguet, suspect Adrian was arrested in Brgy. Shilan by the joint operatives of Benguet PPO and PDEA-CAR after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.12 grams and an SDP of Php 816.00 to an operative acting as a poseur-buyer.

In Brgy. Balili, La Trinidad, suspect Ricky was arrested by the joint operatives of Benguet PPO, Regional PNP Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU), and PDEA-CAR after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.1 gram with an SDP of Php 680.00 to an operative acting as a poseur-buyer.

Inventories of the pieces of evidence recovered were conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspects and witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), media, and elected barangay officials.

The suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the custody of their respective operating units for documentation and proper disposition while charges for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now filed against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
