Kick-off program of the 2022 18-day Campaign to End Violence: “United for a VAW Free Philippines”

Dr. Paulina Sawadan  Retired Regional  Education Supervisor  of the  Department of Education CAR  speciaized in Autonomy  movement and Marga Gardingan ES II of DePED Region also expressed their support for this advocacy joins the observance of the 2022 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) with the theme “UNITED for a VAW-free Philippines”

The kick-off program started with a caravan participated by different Government Agencis and representatives from various offices and partner agencies. A short program was then held in Peoples Park  Baguio City Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong  delivered a solidarity message emphasizing the importance of efforts to prevent and eliminate violence against women.

Observed annually from November 25 to December 12 as mandated by Proclamation 1172 s. 2006, the campaign aims to highlight the powerful impact of harnessing and consolidating efforts towards the goal of having a VAW-free Philippines held on November 27,2022 — Lion Carlos C. Meneses
