City okays two more SK barangay budgets for 2023

Acting City Mayor Faustino Olowan, Oct. 3, ratified city council resolution no. 575, series of 2023, granting favorable review to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) budgets of Trancoville and Pinget barangays for fiscal year 2023.      

The local legislature’s move is pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.       

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review of the august body the said preliminary reviewed annual and supplemental SK budgets.       

In its 2nd indorsement dated Sept. 18, this year, the city council’s committee on youth welfare and sports development, recommended favorable review of the SK budgets of Trancoville and Pinget barangays.   

The approved measure orders the return of the mentioned SK barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
