City grants favorable reviews to 13 more barangay budgets

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified several city council measures granting favorable review to 13 barangay budgets for fiscal year 2023 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.     

The City Budget Officer forwarded the preliminary reviewed budgets to the local legislature for its review.      

Resolution no. 198, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the budgets of Country Club Village, Santo Rosario Valley, Atok Trail, Fairview, West Modernsite, and North Central Aurora Hill barangays while resolution no. 199, series of 2023, does the same for the barangay budgets of Loakan Proper and Happy Homes Old Lucban.    

Meanwhile, resolution no. 212, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the budgets of Magsaysay Private Road, Marcoville, Imelda Marcos, Santo Tomas Proper, and Aurora Hill Proper barangays.   

The august body’s committee on barangay affairs, in separate endorsements, recommended favorable review of the mentioned barangay budgets.  

The approved measures order the return of the barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
