City gives favorable review to five barangay budgets for 2023

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 135, series of 2023, granting favorable review of five barangay budgets for fiscal year 2023.

These are the budgets of Pinsao Proper, Alfonso Tabora, San Luis Village, Scout Barrio, and BGH Compound barangays.

Their preliminary reviewed barangay budgets for calendar year 2023 were earlier forwarded to the local legislature for review by the City Budget Officer.

The august body’s committee on barangay affairs, in its 2nd indorsement dated February 23, this year, recommended favorable review of said barangay budgets pursuant to the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

The barangay budgets granted favorable review were then returned to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
