City commends Dancesport athletes

The local legislature, jointly and collectively, adopted resolution no. 312, series of 2022,  congratulating and commending the TJS Baguio City Dancesport Team for their feat during the Philippine Superstars Open Dance Championship held at the Dance Vision Arena in San Juan City, Metro Manila, on July 16, this year.      

The team members and their awards in each category include: Seth Matthew Bambalan, 2nd place in the juvenile solo chachacha; Seth Matthew Bambalan, 2nd place, juvenile solo latin jive; Maecy Jovylyn Fernando and Jordele Adia Salvatin, 2nd place, juvenile duo latin;  Seth Matthew Bambalan, 3rd place, juvenile solo latin samba;

Maezyl Jesa Fernando and Janeah Bildan, 3rd place, juvenile duo; Adriana Gomez and Melchezidek Pinos-an, 3rd place, juvenile 1C; Charvie Pobletin and Yohanna Ritos, 3rd place, junior duo; Angel Grace Vallejos and Yvonne Gosgos, 4th place, juvenile duo; Seth Matthew Bambalan and Maezyl Jesa Fernando, 4th place, juvenile A latin;      

Seth Matthew Bambalan and Maezyl Jesa Fernando, 4th place, juvenile 2C latin; Asneah Bildan and Suzette Collantes, 6th place, junior duo; Shanelle Andaya and Iesha Azalea Cayabyab, 7th place, junior duo; Shane Ramos and Samantha Dacanay, 8th place, junior duo; Terence Soriano and Janeah Ritos, semi finalist, grade D and C couple latin; Brandon Justin Bugue and Charvie Pobletin, semi finalist, junior couple latin; and Maezyl Jesa Fernando, semi finalist, solo latin chachacha, jive and samba.

“The City Government of Baguio is proud of the accomplishments of these young dancesport athletes who deserve fitting commendation for the invaluable pride and honor they collectively brought to the city and their coaches and parents, as well,” the measure states. – Gaby B. Keith
