CABALYERO COPS spearhead the Unity Walk, Interfaith Prayer Rally and Peace Covenant

Aiming to foster unity and promote interfaith collaboration to ensure peaceful and orderly elections in the province of Benguet, the Cabalyero Cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) spearheads the Unity Walk, Interfaith Prayer Rally, and Peace Covenant Signing for the National and Local Elections 2025 held in La Trinidad, Benguet on March 13, 2025.

The activity started with the Unity Walk that commenced at the Benguet State University Last Gate and ended at the Benguet Capitol Grounds. This was followed by the Interfaith Prayer Rally, the recitation of the “Panata para sa Malinis, Marangal, at May Dignidad na Kampanya sa Halalang 2025” and the Solidarity Pledge, and the signing of the peace covenant and the Solidarity Pledge.

The activity was initiated by PCOL JOSEPH P BAYONGASAN, Provincial Director of Benguet PPO, in coordination with Atty Vanessa N Roncal of COMELEC-Benguet, and was actively joined by 32 political candidates in the province of Benguet and the personnel of Benguet PPO, DILG-Benguet, COMELEC-Benguet, and AFP, as well as representatives from various religious groups, the women’s sector, the academe, and BPATs.
