Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair will be launching a two-day Festival of Services in Benguet

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair will launch in the Province of Benguet, the first in the CAR Region, on April 21 – 22, 2024. This will be the 15th installment of the Serbisyo caravan which aims to cover all 82 provinces nationwide.

Benguet Lone District Representative Eric Go Yap will serve as the local host of the event. The BPSF Benguet leg will be attended by 55 confirmed district and Partylist Representatives across all regions. (as of 04/19/2024).

With 70 participating national government agencies, over 326 services will be offered for 80,000 expected beneficiaries during the two-day festival of services will be brought to the province 261 Million (261,089,484.00) of which will be in the form of cash assistance (as of 04/19/24).

The total amount of services & programs is 412 Million composed of Social Services which is 110 million, Health Services – 10 million, Agricultural Services – 50 million, Livelihood – 180 million, Educational – 35 million, Other Government Services – 25 million, and Regulatory – 1 million.

Among the services offered by DSWD will be a province-wide payout in all 13 municipalities and one city which is expected to reach over 50,000 individual AICS beneficiaries amounting to 100 million.

Other province-wide activities include various scholarship programs of TESDA and CHED and livelihood assistance for various sectors in pre-identified eligible clients across Benguet.

House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez will represent President Ferdinand “Bong Bong” Marcos Jr. and shall be the Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honor. Speaker Martin Romualdez also continues to prove that he is “MR. RICE” by distributing a total of 160,000 kilograms of rice to selected Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair beneficiaries.

The opening Program will be held at Benguet State University Gymnasium on (Sunday) April 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM wherein 20 agencies will be conducting the ceremonial turnover of over 25 programs.

On the first night of the Serbisyo Fair, a Pagkakaisa Concert will also be held at the Benguet State University Oval with free admission. The Pagkakaisa Concert is expected to draw a crowd of at least 10,000 people. ###
