AUTHORITIES STILL AT WORK TO END ILLEGAL GROWS IN BENGUET

Over 9,900 fully grown marijuana plants and 8,500 seedlings worth a total of P2,320,000.00 were destroyed during a three-day marijuana eradication campaign in Tacadang, Kibungan, Benguet, on October 26–28, 2025, by combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Cordillera Baguio/Benguet, Abra Provincial Offices, and the Kibungan Municipal Police Station.

The Marijuana plants were found in seven separate lots spanning 2,403 square meters.

Authorities torched all the uprooted Marijuana plants on-site.

Meanwhile, no cultivator was arrested during the operation, and the landowner has yet to be identified. #
