Area Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center meeting to strengthen military and police cooperation

The PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., attended the Area Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Center (AJPSCC) meeting held at the  PROCOR Conference Room in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on May 25, 2023.

The meeting was co-presided over by PLTGEN FELIPE R NATIVIDAD, the Commander of the Area Police Command (APC)-Northern Luzon (NL), and LTGEN FERNYL G BUCA, Commander of the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Physically present during the meeting were PBGEN JOSE S HIDALGO, JR., the Regional Director of PRO3; PBGEN PERCIVAL A RUMBAOA, the Regional Director of PRO2; PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO), PCOL RONALD GAYO; 5th and 7th Infantry Division Commanders; Wing Commander of the Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon (TOWNOL); and Commander of the Naval Forces, NLuzon.

Also, the Commanders of the Coast Guard District Northwestern Luzon (CGDNWL), Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNEL), Coast Guard District NCR-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL), and the Regional Directors of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) 1, 2, 3, and CAR virtually attended.

During the meeting, the accomplishments, issues, and concerns of the NOLCOM and APC-NL were presented, followed by an open forum and guidance from PLTGEN NATIVIDAD and LTGEN BUCA.

The meeting was conducted to strengthen military and police cooperation and an avenue to discuss effective ways to address the insurgency problem and the other peace and security concerns prevailing across Northern Luzon. (PROCOR-PIO /File photos)
