ALNO SOLAR POWER IRRIGATION SYSTEM

Agrarian Reform Secretary John R. Castriciones (l) and La Trinidad Mayor Romeo K. Salda, led the ribbon-cutting together with USEC Emily O. Padilla-Support Services Office (SSO), USEC Carim Panumpang-SCO, USEC Virginia N. Orogo-PPRO, DAR-CAR Director Eugene P. Follante,  Ernesto Dongbo – Chairperson – Alno Rural Community Development Cooperative (ARCDC) and other distinguished guests during the inauguration and turn-over of Solar Power Irrigation System at Baeng, Riverside, Alno on April 8, 2021.

The coverage capacity is 15 has, (6X12 panel and 2 tanks with 8,000 liters capacity) and total project cost is P800,000.

 “The main purpose of this project is to cost reduction in the expenses of the beneficiaries because they will no longer use electricity if there is a sun and that is for farm maintenance because it seems like free-flowing,” Dongbo said   Photos by Mario Oclaman/FNS
