ALLEGED DRUG DEN, RAIDED – 6 BUSTED, 50 GRAMS OF SHABU SEIZED
CAMP MAJOR BADODANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET: As part of its continuous effort to eradicate illegal drugs in the Cordilleras, joint operatives of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) and PDEA-CAR implemented a search warrant in Kayang Hilltop, Baguio City in the dawn of February 27, 2021 that resulted to the arrest of six individual and confiscation of more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu.
Citing reports from PCOL ALLEN RAE F CO, BCPO Director, suspects were identified as: 1) FRANCIS JUAN CONTING (Target List), 43 years old; 2) GINA LICADAO, 28 years old; 3) ELMO AMITEN Jr., 45 years old; 4) SULER PAULINO GASPAR, 50 years old; CARLOS ABOL TICAWA, 62 years old; and DOMINADOR GIRON RAGUDO, 49 years old.
The operation stemmed from a search warrant issued by Executive Judge MARIA LIGAYA V ITLIONG-RIVERA of RTC Branch 5 in Baguio City.
A total of 10 pieces of suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with estimated market value of Php 340,000.00 were seized during the law enforcement operation.
Also several plastic sachets containing residue; two pieces of live .9mm caliber ammunitions & a live .22 caliber ammunition; glass totters; and various drug paraphernalia were recovered by the authorities during the operation.
Suspects is will be charged for Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
