3 Drug personalities busted, P34K worth Shabu seized in Benguet

A collaborative effort of Benguet PPO and PDEA Benguet led to the arrest of three (3) drug personalities in a buy-bust operation conducted at Tagadi, Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet in the evening of August 12, 2021.

Reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, disclosed the identity of the suspects as Ricardo Ocampo Manuson a.k.a. Bryan, 43, listed as High-Value Target; Richie Lomibao Sison, 26; and John Derik Damoco, 26.

The suspects were arrested after they conspired to sell to an operative acting as poseur buyer one (1) heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1.5 grams and Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php10,200.00.

In the course of their arrest, seized from their possession were seven (7) heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 3.5 grams and SDP amounting to Php 23,800.00; buy-bust money; drugs paraphernalia; and one (1) Cal. 38 revolver with five (5) live ammos.

On site inventory and markings of the pieces of evidence was conducted in the presence of Kagawad Anita Madarang of Barangay Tadiangan, Prosecutor Andres Gondayao and Charles Nikko Limon of RNG Luzon.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the custody of PDEA Benguet for documentation while cases for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing against the suspects. (PROCOR-PIO)
