13 Drug personalities, busted; over 14M worth of Marijuana eradicated in a weeklong anti-illegal drugs ops

In the conduct of the week-long anti-illegal drugs operation in the Cordillera, 13 drug personalities were arrested while a total of Php 14,854,000.00 worth of marijuana plants were eradicated by PROCOR Cops from April 10 to April 16, 2022.

Citing the records of PROCOR’s Regional Operations Division (ROD), for the week, Baguio CPO recorded the highest number of arrests with seven (7) arrested drug personalities followed by Benguet PPO with five arrested drug personalities and lastly by Abra PPO with one arrest.

In Baguio City, arrested personalities were identified as Ian Niccolo Pinlac Reynon, 28; Jeric Lopez Batuyog, 21; Troy Agunod Simbajon, 21; Levi Hope Flordelis Molines, 20; Manny Lacambra Calagno, 38; Alain Gadalio Candong, 44; and Edian Morales Peralta, 30.

In Benguet, arrested personalities were identified as Mark Guilford Awal Puddong, 39; Gilbert Guinomon Labutan, 32; Kenjie Laongan Edoc, 25; and a 17-year-old male minor while one Crisanto Marcellano has died in a shoot-out with the police officers of Mankayan MPS.

While in Abra, the arrested personality was identified as Patrocinio Domingo Basseg, 48.

The separate buy-bust operations conducted resulted in the seizure of a total of 3.9306 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price amounting to Php 26,728.00 and the confiscation of a total of 5032 grams of dried marijuana leaves with an SDP of Php 603,840.00.

All arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Meanwhile, the continuous marijuana eradication conducted in Benguet resulted in the destruction of a total of 8,510 fully grown marijuana plants (FGMJP) with an SDP of Php 1,742,000.00; 6,800 pieces of marijuana seedlings with an SDP of Php 272,000.00; and 107,000 pieces of dried marijuana leaves and stalks with an SDP of Php 12,840,000.00.
