The unwavering efforts of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) in its campaign against illegal drugs resulted in the seizure of PhP30,187,624.00 worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of ten drug personalities during the series of operations conducted from February 10 to 16, 2025.
Throughout the weeklong campaign, PRO CAR carried out 48 anti-illegal drug operations across the region, leading to the seizure of 74,365 fully grown marijuana plants, 80,004.60 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 46,000.00 grams of dried marijuana stalks, and 28.54 grams of suspected shabu, with an overall value of PhP30,187,624.00.
Additionally, these operations resulted in the arrest of ten drug personalities, including four classified as High Value Individuals and six listed as Street Level Individuals.
The most significant operations took place in Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) seized illegal drugs worth PhP15,243,320.00 and arrested one HVI and one SLI, and in Kalinga, where the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga PPO eradicated marijuana plants valued at PhP14,868,000.00.
Furthermore, in Abra, the Abante Cops of Abra PPO confiscated suspected shabu worth PhP50,320.00 and busted two SLIs, and in Baguio City, the Napino Cops of Baguio City Police Office confiscated illegal drugs valued at PhP22,788.00 and apprehended three HVIs and one SLI. Meanwhile, in Apayao, one SLI was arrested and PhP2,040.00 worth of illegal drugs were seized by the Pasindayaw Cops of Apayao PPO, and in Ifugao, one SLI was nabbed and PhP1,156.00 worth of shabu were confiscated by the Haggiyo Cops of Ifugao PPO.
