PROCOR Regional Director visits Ifugao and Mountain Province PPO

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet –  (April 22, 2021) – To better acquaint himself with the current peace and order situation in his Area of Responsibility, the Regional Director of Police Regional Office Cordillera PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, made his first official visit in the Police Provincial Offices of Ifugao and Mountain Province on April 20 and 21, 2021.

During the command visit in Ifugao PPO, the operational accomplishment on loose firearms were presented to the Regional Director, which included 37 assorted loose firearms voluntarily surrendered to the different police stations in the province for the 1st quarter of 2021.

PBGEN LEE awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) to six personnel namely, PMAJ MICHAEL M DANGILAN, PSSg Elvis D Kimmayong, PCPT BASILIO K HOPDAYAN JR, PSSg Joseph B Gunichon, PLT CHRISTY MAE A PACIA, and PSSg Jesent G Tayaban. This is in recognition of their operational accomplishments leading to the arrest of three Most Wanted Persons in the province.

Likewise, in Mountain Province PPO, he awarded the same medal to PLTCOL EDGAR L TAPO, PLT NESTOR B PUGUON, PEMS Gaspar M. Suagen and PCpl Dexter P Falangon for their accomplishments in anti-illegal logging and anti-drug campaign.

PBGEN LEE handed over grocery packs and cash to the four Militia ng Bayan surrenderees to help them start a normal life with their families.

In his “Talk to the Men” message, he encouraged the men and women in the PPOs to continually improve themselves in the performance of their duties and work together for the betterment of the police force in their respective provinces.

Further, to build partnership in the implementation of peace and order programs, PBGEN LEE paid a courtesy call to Ifugao Governor Jerry U. Dalipog, Mountain Province Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr and to Bontoc Mayor Hon. Franklin C. Odsey. (PROCOR-PIO)
