PNP Top COP Visits Abra Provincial Police Office
CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet- (August 19, 2021) – POLICE GENERAL GUILLERMO LORENZO TOLENTINO ELEAZAR, the Chief Philippine National Police, visited and graced the newly renovated SAF barracks at ABRA PPO, Camp Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
PGEN ELEAZAR was accorded with arrival honors of the men and women of Abra PPO and personally welcomed by PCOL CHRISTOPHER T ACOP, the Provincial Director of ABRA.
As the highlight of the ceremony, the Chief PNP conferred medals to deserving Abra PPO personnel for their outstanding accomplishments in line with the anti-criminality efforts of the PNP.
Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to PLTCOL ALLAN GUYGUYON while the Medalya ng Kagalingan were awarded to PLTCOL LOU SALVADOR A CLARO, PMAJ JUNE BANATE TABIGO-ON, PLT FEBERICK BORBON TALINGDAN, PLT JADI T FERNANDEZ, PCMS Bernard Carrabacan, PSSg Daniel C Tegrado, and PCpl Jay Lester Brigola Orio. Thus, a plaque of recognition was given to Hon. Congressman Joseph Sto. Nino “JB” B Bernos and Hon. Governor Ma. Jocelyn “Joy” V Bernos, for their determination to help the Abra PPO as PNP stakeholders during the covid-19 pandemic.
After the giving of awards, PGEN ELEAZAR turn-over the PNP equipment to PCOL ACOP, which includes 50 pcs ballistic eyewear, 20 units enhanced combat helmet level III, 80 units tactical vest level III-A with 2 upgraded plates level IV, 14,000 ammunition for 5.56 mm range and 10,000 ammunition for 7.62 mm range and it will be utilized by mobile force companies to enhance the Internal Security Operations (ISO) activities.
During his talk to the men, PGEN ELEAZAR emphasizes to the personnel of ABRA PPO the compliance of his program the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) that anchors cleanliness in the office, ranks, and in the community to avoid corruption, proper interventions to those ailing personnel, anti-criminality campaign, particularly on anti-illegal drugs and anti-terrorism.
In Addition, He mentioned the celebration of the Police Service Anniversary on its 120th year, utilization of Advocacy Support Group and Force Multipliers in the PNP anti-criminality campaign.
“Keep doing the good deeds we are doing for us to continues gain the support and cooperation of people that we are pledged to serve” PGEN ELEAZAR added. Further, Chief PNP spearheaded the ground-breaking ceremony of the multi-purpose hall and graced the blessing of the newly renovated SAF barracks. (PROCOR-PIO)
