New PROCOR Regional Director seeks collaboration with Religious, Government leaders

Camp Bado Major Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet – (April 15, 2021) – To strengthen collaboration and establish a good working relationship, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE made his first courtesy visit to the religious and government leaders in Baguio City on April 13, 2021, a few days after he assumed office as the new Regional Director of the Police Regional Office Cordillera.

PBGEN LEE paid a courtesy call to the Bishop of the Diocese of Baguio, Most Reverend Victor B. Bendico and Bishop Reuel Norman Marigza of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) – Baguio. Both Bishops acknowledged the assistance being provided by PROCOR and noted the continuous attendance of the police during masses.

In response, the new Regional Director committed that PROCOR is always open for any police assistance if needed and ensured continuous attendance to religious activities as this is in line with the PNP’s program on Internal Cleansing which aims to instill moral and spiritual values to police officers.

Also, PBGEN LEE paid a courtesy call to the local government leaders who are in Baguio City at the moment. He met with Ifugao Congressman Hon. Solomon R. Chungalao at Mines View, Baguio City for a courtesy call, to Benguet Governor Hon. Melchor Diclas and to the Benguet Caretaker  Congressman Hon. Eric Go Yap.

PBGEN LEE seeks to establish good working relations with the local government leaders as he sought their continuous support for the plans and programs of PROCOR in the maintenance of peace and order in the region.

He further committed to strengthen the collaboration and foster closer communications between PROCOR and the religious and government leaders for better services. (PROCOR RPIO)
