A Memorandum of Agreement has been signed by the TESDA Regional CAR Director Dante J. Navarro, PD Elizabeth D. Manio, ISRI OIC-Resident Manager Eric S. Andal, and ISRI Assist. Resident Manager Mervin L. Balagot. The AMCI President and CEO Luis R. Sarmiento has presigned the MOA and joined the ceremony through a virtual platform.

The MOA on EBT is a binding agreement of both parties to cooperatively work together on an agreed-upon subject for the training needs of its target beneficiaries.

RD Navarro expressed gratitude to the newest industry partner since the program will greatly help their employees in upskilling themselves. He even stressed the TESDA’S mantra “TESDAabot Lahat” that even in the farthest area of the Cordillera, TESDA is trying to reach out in order to harness TESDAns in increasing their knowledge in their respective skills.

Likewise, PD Manio reiterated that TESDA is promoting the Industry-Based Training Programs to support TESDA’s objective to realize its demand-driven approach in implementing programs in partnership with the various private companies in the locality.

The MOA signing was then ended by acknowledging TESDA as the training arm of ISRI through its AMCI President and CEO Mr. Sarmiento. ” I am thankful for the opportunity that TESDA is giving us since it will be a partner of uplifting the lives of many residents in the community,” he concluded.

The qualifications that will be offered in the EBT are in the sector of Automotive and Land Transportation, Electrical and Electronics, Construction, Metals and Engineering.  ###
